A Decade of Community Impact: More Than $1 Million Raised for Local Health Care
Over its first 10 years, City2City raised more than $1 million under the leadership of its volunteer committee, benefiting a wide range of local health services, programs and equipment across Albury Wodonga Health. Funds have helped deliver improvements in mental health, maternity and special care nursery services, cancer and respiratory care, stroke telemedicine, community health, critical care equipment and patient facilities.
2026: Supporting Allied Health
The 2026 SS&A City2City RunWalk raised $154,292 for Allied Health at Albury Wodonga Health.
These funds are helping strengthen Allied Health services across the organisation, supporting the therapists and clinicians who help patients recover, regain independence and return home sooner. This includes physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, dietetics, social work and other allied health disciplines that play a vital role in patient care, from hospital admission through to rehabilitation and community-based services.
The funds have also enabled the establishment of the Lucie Shannahan Scholarship, supporting Allied Health professionals to pursue further education, professional development and career opportunities that enhance the care provided to patients across our region.
