Calling all fabulous performers!

We would love to have you on board as one of our volunteer entertainers, so see below for some information about how to join in the fun.

What do I need to be a performer?

Besides your outstanding talent which goes without saying, we ask that you be as completely self-sufficient as possible. We cannot provide sound equipment but if you need power, please let us know.

We cannot provide chairs or a shade structure, but where possible will  place you in a shady area along the City2City route.

How long do I perform for?

Depending on where you are located, you will be performing from around 8am – 9am (Albury side) or 8:15am to about 9:30am (Wodonga side).

If you can be in position and ready to go by 7:45am that would be wonderful. When you see the first runner heading towards you, start performing!

Feel free to take short drink breaks when required. When you feel the majority of the 4000+ runners have passed through, feel free to pack up.

What if I have an accident/incident?

The City2City committee would definitely like to hear about it if you have an unpleasant experience on the day as we value all feedback.

Being a charity event, we do not, however, have public liability insurance which covers our performers so we ask that you take out your own cover if you feel it’s required.

What do I get for being involved?

Well apart from the fact that you’ll receive a great deal of self-satisfaction and pride at having given up your time to take part in a wonderful community event, you will receive a certificate of appreciation at the conclusion of the event.
