In 2018, you have three options to take part in the Hume Bank City2City Run/Walk. You can participate in the:
- 10km fun run starting at 8.00am
- 7.5km fun run starting at 8.20am, or
- walk & talk starting at 8.30am
All start on Dean Street, Albury City at QEII Square and incorporate Dean St, Wodonga Place, the Lincoln Causeway, Sumsion Gardens and South and High Streets in Wodonga, finishing at the Water Tower. Participants in the 10km course have the added bonus of taking in the scenery at Gateway Island.
The flat, on-road course provides for a great event for people of all fitness abilities.
Water stations will be located every 2km along the course to ensure all runners and walkers are well hydrated throughout this event. See course maps for water station locations or print off the course route PDF for reference.
St Johns Ambulance Australia will provide first aid assistance and ambulance services for the Hume Bank City2City RunWalk with a First Aid crew posted at the Start Area and the Finish Area as well as a mobile response crew en route.
The final course may be subject to minor change, in the best interest of the health and safety of participants, as directed by Authorities.
The City2City 10km course has been measured utilising the AIMS/IAAF process. This involved cycling with a fixed, mechanical counter following the international standard for measuring running and cycle races. This will ensure the C2C is a 100% accurate course. The measurement has a 0.1% short-course prevention factor built in, so entrants that run the shortest possible line on event day will run 10,010m in total.
